A rock and roll original, the legendary Little Joe Cook is a veteran
of Alan Freed's Rock 'n Roll Review, Dick Clark's American Bandstand
and Harlem's Apollo Theater. He scored a big hit called "Peanuts"
and created the falsetto style of singing later to be copied by
many including Frankie Valle. He has shared the stage with The
Drifters, The Platters, Frankie Lyman, Sam Cooke and countless
others. Paul Simon's very first professional gig was opening up
for Little Joe Cook. Today his live show is as strong as it ever
was, Little Joe Cook cooks. |
